When someone is sick or worried, they don't want to dig through a confusing website. They want to know three things quickly: does this clinic offer what I need, when is the doctor available and how do I book. Every extra step loses patients to the clinic down the street.
I'm Aldrian, an independent web developer in the Philippines. I build websites for medical clinics, specialist doctors, diagnostic centers and laboratories that answer those questions fast and make booking simple.
What patients look for on a clinic website
Services in plain language
Not a wall of medical terms. A clear list of consultations, procedures, laboratory tests and packages, each explained in a sentence or two that a worried parent can understand.
Doctor profiles and schedules
Patients choose doctors as much as clinics. Each doctor deserves a profile with their specialty, a real photo, their clinic days and hours, and any HMO accreditations you choose to list. Schedules should be easy to update when they change.
HMO and payment information
In the Philippines, "Do you accept my HMO?" is one of the first questions patients ask. A clear list of accredited HMOs and payment options saves your front desk from answering it all day.
Location and hours
A map, landmarks, parking notes and clear clinic hours, including holidays.
A simple way to book
An appointment request form or booking system that works on a phone in under a minute.
Online appointments that fit how your clinic works
Not every clinic needs the same booking setup. I'll build the one that fits your workflow.
Appointment request form. The patient picks a doctor, preferred date and time, and gives basic details. Your staff confirm by phone, SMS or email. Simple and very effective.
Real-time booking. Patients see available slots and book directly, with automatic confirmations and reminders. Best for clinics with consistent schedules.
Connection to your existing system. If you already use clinic or booking software, I can connect your website to it instead of building a second system.
Reminders by email or SMS reduce no-shows. More on my booking and appointment system page.
Privacy and security come first
Medical information is sensitive, and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 applies to how you collect and handle personal data. A clinic website should be built with that in mind:
- Collect only what you need on online forms
- Use HTTPS everywhere
- Send form data securely and store it in protected places
- Show a clear privacy notice and get consent where needed
- Limit staff access to what each person needs
- Keep software updated and backed up
I'm a developer, not a lawyer, so I'll recommend you confirm your privacy policies with your own advisor. What I make sure of is that the technical side is done properly. More on my website security page.
Accessible for every patient
Your patients include seniors, people with poor eyesight and people using screen readers. A clinic website should have readable text sizes, strong color contrast, buttons large enough to tap and forms that work with assistive technology. I build to accessibility guidelines from the start. See my accessibility page.
The Lakeside Smile Studio demo in my portfolio shows this approach: a healthcare site that's fast, accessible and honest, with no fake reviews or credentials.
Fast on any phone
Many patients search on mobile data, sometimes while already on their way. I keep clinic sites light so they load quickly, with compressed images and only the code that's needed.
Being found by local patients
People search for things like "pediatrician near me" or "laboratory in Quezon City open Sunday." To show up:
- Each service and doctor gets its own clear page
- Your location, hours and contact details are consistent everywhere
- Structured data tells search engines you're a medical business
- Your Google Business Profile is connected and up to date
Honest healthcare marketing
I won't add fake patient reviews, invented success rates or credentials you don't have. In healthcare especially, trust is everything. Real doctors, real photos, clear information and a quick response do the work.
What I can build
- Clinic and doctor websites
- Multi-branch clinic sites with location pages
- Diagnostic center and laboratory sites with test lists and packages
- Appointment request and booking systems
- Patient inquiry forms with secure handling
- Doctor schedule management for your staff
- Announcements for holidays and schedule changes
Common problems on clinic websites
Doctor schedules posted as images. They're hard to read and even harder to update, so they go out of date fast. Text schedules that staff can edit stay accurate.
No way to ask a simple question. Not every patient is ready to book. A short inquiry form or messaging link catches the ones who just want to confirm a test or a price.
Lab packages hidden in PDFs. Patients want to compare packages on their phone. Clear package pages make it easy.
How we'd work
- We talk about your services, doctors and how patients book today.
- You get a quote with scope, timeline and fixed price.
- I build and share preview links.
- We test forms, booking and pages on phones and desktops.
- We launch, and I show your staff how to update schedules and announcements.
Let's make booking easier for your patients
Tell me about your clinic. I'll reply with a plan and a fixed quote.
