If you host short-term rentals, you know the pattern. Guests find you on a booking platform, have a great stay and ask if they can book directly next time. Friends of guests message you on Facebook. Companies want a few nights for a visiting employee. Each time, you send photos and rates by chat, again and again.
A simple website gives those guests one place to see everything and request their dates, and it makes your rental look like a real hospitality business.
I'm Aldrian, an independent web developer in the Philippines. I build websites for Airbnb hosts, condo and staycation units, transient houses, vacation homes and small portfolios of rental units. A starter site begins at ₱6,000 a year, all-in, with your domain and hosting for the first year.
What guests look for
Photos
Bright, real photos of every room, the view, amenities like the pool or gym and the building entrance. Photos sell stays.
Rates
Nightly, weekly and monthly rates, cleaning fees, extra guest fees and peak season rates. Clear rates reduce endless chat questions.
Amenities and house rules
Wi-Fi speed, aircon, kitchen, Netflix, parking, check-in and check-out times, pets, smoking, visitors and noise rules. Building rules, like guest registration, matter for condos.
Location
Nearby malls, offices, hospitals, airports and transport. Guests choose based on what's close.
How to book
A booking request form with dates and guests, clear payment and deposit instructions and messaging buttons.

- Book: booking request form, payment and deposit info and messaging links
Hosting several units? Extra pages, one per unit, are ₱1,500 each.

Direct booking, done safely
The starter site uses a booking request form: guests send their dates and details, you confirm availability and send payment instructions. A live availability calendar, instant booking and online deposits need a custom build. See booking systems and GCash and Maya payments.
Before taking direct bookings, check the rules that apply to you: your condo corporation's policies on short-term rentals, your local permits and the booking platform's terms about guests you met there. Clear cancellation and deposit policies protect both you and your guests.
Corporate and long stays
Companies, medical travelers and project workers often need monthly stays. A section for long stays and corporate guests, with monthly rates and an inquiry form, can fill your calendar during slower months.
Protecting guests from scams
Fake listings sometimes copy real rental photos to take deposits. Your website helps guests verify you: list your official contact numbers, social accounts and the only payment accounts you use, and remind guests never to pay unofficial accounts.
Getting found
People search "staycation condo BGC," "transient house Baguio" or "monthly condo rental Makati." The basic SEO setup gives your pages focused titles and descriptions with your location and unit type, adds structured data and keeps the site fast.
Common mistakes for hosts
Rates only by chat. Show them clearly.
Dark, small photos. Bright, wide photos sell stays.
No house rules. Set expectations before guests arrive.
Unclear payment instructions. List official accounts only.
No cancellation policy. Protect yourself with clear terms.
What to prepare
- Unit names and photos
- Rates, fees and minimum stays
- Amenities, house rules and building rules
- Location details and nearby places
- Payment, deposit and cancellation policies
- Contact details and messaging links
A guest guide that saves you messages
Hosts answer the same questions with every booking: how to get from the airport, where to park, how to register at the lobby, the Wi-Fi password process, where to buy groceries and how to check out. A guest guide section, or an extra page for ₱1,500, answers all of it once. Share the link after a booking is confirmed, and you'll spend far less time on chat during each stay. Keep sensitive details, like door codes, out of the public page and send those privately.

- I reply with a checklist and a start date.
- You send your content.
