North Luzon runs on tourism, food, agriculture and small businesses with a lot of character. Baguio's cafés and inns, La Union's surf town, the heritage streets of Vigan and the busy markets of Dagupan, Tuguegarao and Santiago. Visitors and locals both look you up online before they come.
I'm Aldrian, an independent web developer in the Philippines. I work remotely with businesses across North Luzon, building websites and booking systems that make a strong first impression and are easy to use on any phone.
Remote work, done properly
I don't have an office in Baguio or San Fernando, La Union. I work remotely with every client, both in the Philippines and abroad.
For businesses up north, that's usually a relief. You don't need to wait for a developer to visit or travel down to Manila for a meeting. We work through calls, chat and live preview links, and we're in the same time zone, so you're not waiting overnight for a reply.
What North Luzon businesses usually need
Inns, transient houses, hotels and resorts
Baguio, La Union, Ilocos and Pangasinan welcome visitors all year. Many small accommodations rely heavily on third-party platforms and Facebook messages. A simple, fast website with rooms, rates, photos and a direct booking or inquiry form helps you take more bookings without paying commission on every one. See my hotel and resort website page.
Tour operators and travel services
Surf schools, tour guides, van rentals and travel agencies need clear itineraries, prices and booking forms that work well for visitors planning on their phones. More on my tour operator website page.
Cafés, restaurants and pasalubong shops
A fast menu page, location, hours, delivery links and good photos help hungry visitors choose you. Pasalubong brands can sell online nationwide with a proper store. See my restaurant and bakery website page.
Schools and universities
Baguio and other northern cities have many schools. Clear program pages, enrollment inquiry forms and announcements help families decide and reduce phone calls.
Agriculture and local producers
Farms, coffee producers and food processors can reach buyers and partners with a clear product site or an online store.
Professional and local services
Clinics, law offices, accounting firms and contractors need credible websites that load fast and make contacting you easy.

Common website problems I see up north
When I look at websites for small businesses in tourist areas, the same issues keep showing up.
Rates hidden in a Facebook post. Guests want to see prices without scrolling through months of posts or waiting for a reply. If they can't find a rate, many simply book somewhere else.
Photos that take forever to load. Beautiful photos of your rooms or food are your best sales tool, but uncompressed images can make a page crawl on mobile data. I resize and compress every image so it looks sharp and still loads fast.
No way to book outside office hours. Visitors often plan late at night. A simple booking or inquiry form that sends the details to your phone and email means you wake up to reservations instead of missed messages.
Directions that don't help. A proper map, clear landmarks and parking notes save your staff from answering the same question every day, especially in places like Baguio where streets are steep and confusing for first-timers.
Seasonal pages that never get updated. Panagbenga, summer and holiday promos posted once and left online for years make a business look closed. I set up promos so they're easy to change or hide when the season ends.
Hiring a nearby agency or a remote developer
A nearby agency can be a good choice if you want face-to-face meetings. The trade-off is often a higher price and fewer people with deep technical skills in smaller cities. Working with a remote developer gives you access to more experience for the same budget, as long as they communicate well. That's the part I take seriously: clear written updates, quick replies and no disappearing after launch.
Areas I work with
I work remotely with businesses across North Luzon, including Baguio City, La Trinidad and Benguet, San Fernando, San Juan and Bauang in La Union, Vigan and Candon in Ilocos Sur, Laoag and Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte, Dagupan, San Carlos, Alaminos and Urdaneta in Pangasinan, Tuguegarao, Santiago, Cauayan and Ilagan in the Cagayan Valley, and Banaue and Sagada in the Cordillera.
Work you can check
Below are live projects I've worked on, including a hand-coded small business demo built for speed and a WordPress site for a software company. Each one links to the live site.
