Pet owners are some of the most loyal customers there are. When they find a vet or groomer they trust, they stay for years. But first, they have to find you, and they usually do that by searching on their phone, sometimes while their pet is sick and they're worried.
At that moment, your website needs to answer quickly: are you open, do you handle this kind of problem, how do I book and where are you?
I'm Aldrian, an independent web developer in the Philippines. I build websites for veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, pet groomers, pet hotels and boarding, trainers and pet shops.
What pet owners need from your website
Clear services
Consultations, vaccinations, deworming, spay and neuter, dental cleaning, surgery, laboratory tests, confinement, grooming packages, boarding. Each service explained in plain language, with what to expect and how to prepare.
Emergency information
If you handle emergencies, say so clearly at the top of the site with a phone number that can be tapped. If you don't, point owners to where they can go. It's one of the most important things on a vet website.
Hours and location
Opening hours, including Sundays and holidays, a working map, parking information and landmarks.
Your vets and team
Real photos and profiles of your veterinarians and staff. Pet owners want to know who'll be handling their pets.
Easy booking
A booking form or system that works on a phone in under a minute.
Online booking built for pet businesses
Vet appointments. Owners choose the service, preferred vet and time slot, then add their pet's name, species and breed. Your staff confirm or the system books automatically.
Grooming. Booking by service and pet size, with add-ons like nail trimming or teeth brushing, and time slots that match how long each service takes.
Boarding and pet hotels. Check-in and check-out dates, pet details, vaccination proof upload and deposit payment.

Reminders that keep pets healthy
Vaccinations, boosters, deworming and annual checkups are easy for owners to forget. Automatic reminders by email or SMS help pets stay healthy and keep your schedule full. They can also confirm appointments the day before, which reduces no-shows. See automated email and SMS notifications.
Selling pet products online
If you run a pet shop or sell food, treats and supplies at your clinic, an online store lets regular customers reorder easily. I can set up product catalogs, local payments through GCash, Maya and cards, delivery fees by area and pickup at the clinic. More on e-commerce websites.
Fast and simple on mobile
Owners often search while holding a pet or on the way to the clinic. I keep pages light and buttons large, with the phone number and booking button always easy to reach.
Being found by local pet owners
People search for things like "vet clinic open Sunday Pasig," "cat grooming near me" or "pet hotel Cebu." To show up:
- Each service has its own page
- Your hours, address and phone are consistent everywhere
- Structured data tells search engines you're a veterinary care business
- Your Google Business Profile is complete with photos and hours
- Pages are fast and mobile friendly
Common mistakes on pet business websites
No emergency details. Owners in a panic shouldn't have to search for whether you handle emergencies.
Booking only by phone or chat. Many owners book late at night after work. An online form catches those bookings.
Grooming prices without pet sizes. Prices usually depend on size and coat. A clear table avoids awkward surprises at the counter.
Stock photos of animals. Owners love seeing real pets you've cared for, with their owners' permission.
Outdated holiday hours. Keep hours easy to update so nobody shows up to a closed clinic.
Privacy and records
Booking forms collect owner details and sometimes pet health information. I build forms securely, use HTTPS everywhere and store data with restricted access. If you use clinic management software, I can often connect booking to it instead of creating a second system.
Honest content
I won't add fake reviews or made-up patient counts. Real photos, real vets, clear services and quick replies build the trust pet owners care about.
Helpful content that builds trust
Pet owners search for answers all the time: when should my puppy get vaccinated, is this food safe for cats, how often should I groom my dog? A small articles section where your vets answer common questions does two things. It helps owners, and it helps search engines see your clinic as a trusted local source. I'll set up an easy way for your team to publish, with articles reviewed by your vets for accuracy.
What it usually costs
A clinic website with services, hours and a booking form is a modest project. Booking with reminders, boarding deposits and an online shop takes more work. You'll get a fixed quote after we talk, and my website cost guide explains what affects the price.
How we'd work
- We talk about your services and how booking works today.
- You get a quote with scope, timeline and fixed price.
- I build and share preview links.
- We test booking, reminders and pages on phones.
- We launch, and I show your staff how to manage bookings and content.
