My own online safety membership, designed and built end to end: a public website with a free link checker, a member portal with an AI assistant, a Chrome extension that checks stores before you buy, and an admin inbox for answering members.

The challenge
People who aren't comfortable online need a calm place to check a suspicious text, link or online store, in plain words, with a real person to ask when it matters. It had to be private by design, easy to read for non-technical users, and work just as well on a phone.

Implementation
The website, member portal and admin run on Cloudflare, with Supabase providing the database, sign-in and server functions. Checks combine trusted sources: Google Safe Browsing, Web Risk and urlscan.io for links, registration data for website age, Google Cloud Vision for copied product photos, and XposedOrNot for data breach lookups. Google Gemini turns the findings into a short, plain-language report. The Chrome extension only reads a page when the member presses its button.
